I initially bought this heater to warm up our uninsulated greenhouse for winter plantings. As it gets quite cold during the nights, and I don't enjoy sending large chunks of money to the electric company, it is important to me that the unit not burn through too many watts. I was so impressed with the unit that I bought one for my son's bedroom and my daughter's apartment. It has warmed up these spaces without taking a huge bite out of our heating budget. It is small but efficient and much safer than some other options.
