Holmes HFH105 Ceramic Utility Heater Reviews

I took the Holmes FHF105 Heater out of the box and plugged it in. I smelt smoke and just thought it was the dust on the coils, then smoke continued and I saw flash of fire and top of the heater began to melt. So much for the safety features on this thing. I would not recommend this heater unless you want to burn down your house

OK SO HERE IT IS... I BOUGHT 2 HOLMES HEATERS MODEL HFH105. I PUT ONE IN A KIDS ROOM AND ONE IN A BATHROOM. I WALKED INTO THE KIDS ROOM IN THE MORNING AND COULD SMELL SOMETHING BURNING. I IMMEDIATLY CHECKED EVERYTHING. WHEN I GOT CLOSE TO THE HEATER THE SMELL WAS WORSE. I GRABBED THE PLUG FROM THE WALL AND NOTICED IT WAS PRETTY HOT. I LOOKED AT THE PLUG AND IT HAD BURNED NOT ONLY THE PLUG BUT MELTED SOME OF THE OUTLET ALSO. I WENT AND UNPLUGGED THE ONE IN THE BATHROOM ASAP, AND IT TO WAS ALSO REALLY HOT, BUT HAD NOT BURNED OR MELTED ANYTHING. IF I HAD NOT CAUGHT THIS IN TIME, IT COULD HAVE STARTED...
