Little fan, big heat

This fan is compact and the housing and controls are all heavy-duty plastic, so no accidental burns! There is a metal coil inside, which heats up and the little fan blows the heat all around your room! It's small, but boy - does it pack a punch. It has a thermostat with nine heat settings. You can choose fan-only, low heat, or high heat. It automatically turns off and on to maintain the desired temperature. Fan-only is only useful for a little air circulation. It's not that strong. You couldn't use it in the summer as a fan.

The Holmes Compact Heater Fan with Thermostat [Model #HFH416-UM] is a good little heater that keeps my bedroom at just the right temperature.  It has five temperature settings with five degree increments, so there's no getting in & out of bed to turn the temp up & down during the night like the kind with the arrow that you turn to the left or right and that you can never keep the correct temperature.  This sets to a specific temp and keeps the room just right, so we can set the central heat lower instead of heating the entire house as warmly.  It is very compact, taking minimal space.

This heater is okay for a very small room or to sitt right in front of you if you have col feet like I always do. But if your trying to save on your heat I'd go for a larger heater.
