This is a pretty good heater however it does take a long time to warm the room, I would say it just takes the chill out. The closer you walk to it the warmer it is however its not just spilling out heat. When we leave the house for hours and come back, thats when we notice more of a difference. If I am home and its on, it always feels cold inside probably because I am use to the temperature and getting used to it. The wheels on it do pop off pretty easy so make sure you have it away from anything that it could fall on and cause fire. Overall it is good, glad we bought it. Performance We wish it put out more heat but works to get the chill out Ease of Use Very easy to use, self explanatory. I think with any space heater there should be precautions.

this is a great heater, it is very warm and I am a cold person. It takes a lot for me to get wam. this heater warms me up. I have animals, a cat and a dog, its very important for my animals to be safe. My cat gets on everything, so I need something that is going to be safe around her.

Had on of these when i was little. Saves money during the winter months. Even though i didn't pay bills at that time i understand the idea now. you can heat what ever room you are in at the time with out having to heat the entire house. and that is good if you have a big house then you would have a big electrical bill.

Don't forget to turn off when not at home. Just like with any other product. Safety first. Good for small spaces. Is small but effective. Makes very little sound. It has a reasonable price and it's cute. It won't stand out in your room because of its size.

This is a good heater for one room. Its quiet. I would get this if you need to heat a backroom in your house. I have a back bedroom in my house that needed a little extra heat and this was perfect for it. Its in a childs bedroom and she seems to stay away from it. It get hot but not hot enough to really hurt her.

We live in a house that is over 200 years old and the insulation isn't great, so as we redo the home we have to supplement the heating source in rooms not yet renovated...the bathroom is one room with this issue, so we decided that we would purchase a Holmes heater as our supplemental heat source and it's has been fantastic!  This item is worth every penny we paid and I can tell you this wasn't one of the fancy expensive heaters, but it works like one and this is the second season we are using it and its still working and keeping us warm in the bathroom.

This heater operates silently, has no moving parts or fan. Has a digital thermostat with hi and lo settings, and automatically shuts itself off when set temperature is reached and turns on again when needed. Has front mounted handle and rear wheels for easy moving/repositioning. This heater is meant for a whole room, as it states in it's name.

Holmes has GREAT customer service and a terrific warranty policy.  After 3 years of use, the heater refused to turn on (probably the power supply broke or something) and I gave Holmes a call.  The customer service representative said the heater had a 5 year warranty and sent a brand new one to me free of charge.  I did not have to send them the broken heater or anything. This heater is mobile, gives off great heat, and easy to use.  Sometimes the heater would give off a burning smell, but that was probably all the dust being incinerated.  I got this heater for a condo I used to live in with very poor insulation and no heating.  On low, I would prop this bionaire portable heater against my calves and feel golden.  The highest setting gives off great heat, but at the point the sides where the coils are closest to are untouchable unless you want to get burned.  Dials, on-off switch, and handle are practical and simple.  I have nothing bad to say about this heater.
