Holland America, in general, is a fantastic cruise line. But the cruise I took with them to Alaska was off the charts! Just absolutely spectacular!!!! When you're in Alaska, there is absolutely nothing like it. All those pictures you see on postcards of mountains and streams and sunsets and icebergs....it's real life! It was the most awe inspiring thing I ever saw! The land excursions with Holland America are decently priced. Dont get me wrong, they still are an arm and a leg, but at least in Alaska they are totally worth it! And not anymore exspensive with Holland America then with any other cruise...
