Holland America Line - Zaandam Review

Holland America, in general, is a fantastic cruise line. But the cruise I took with them to Alaska was off the charts! Just absolutely spectacular!!!! When you're in Alaska, there is absolutely nothing like it. All those pictures you see on postcards of mountains and streams and sunsets and icebergs....it's real life! It was the most awe inspiring thing I ever saw! The land excursions with Holland America are decently priced. Dont get me wrong, they still are an arm and a leg, but at least in Alaska they are totally worth it! And not anymore exspensive with Holland America then with any other cruise line. So I find for Alaska Holand America is the way to go, they pretty much own the tourism up there, so you're in great hands! Even their ships are amazing, I was on the Zaadamn, it was very nice. Pretty big, had a fun casino on board, lots of nightly activities, great food, and even great music! Every night from diner to about midnight a jazz band plays in the Ocean Bar, they are truely amazing musicians, and very romantic!! The sites of the see at sunset from the deck of the ship are breath taking. Please take this trip, it is a vacation you shouldnt live without!
