Holland America Line - Amsterdam South America Review

My husband and I have done a lot of research and traveled on three cruise lines  in all.  Our two trips on Holland America were by far the most enjoyable and the greatest value.

Every aspect of cruising has been addressed and perfected.  I especially like the fact that there are completely separate areas for children and enough activities to keep them from being underfoot.  I love children and there are times when I love to have them around, but not when I'm relaxing on a cruise ship. 

Holland America's talent does not stop at the shoreline.  The shore excursions are excellent and they are constantly monitored by the ship's staff to ensure there are no problems or lapses in quality, security or subject matter.  It's not the usual ho-hum shore visit; they really get into the culture of the country or attraction. 

All in all, you can't find cleaner more efficient accommodations and friendlier, more competent staff on any other cruise line.  Holland America is simply the best, especially for the price.
