OMG, that is so good!!!  I put whole black peppercorns in with my preserves for a little added kick.  I have a great homemade caramel corn recipe that I make...I can hardly call it just an appetizer, because we put it out and munch on it all day!

It is fun, the best part about the holidays is preparing foods we don't usually make during the the rest of the year, and we enjoy them so much more.  Can't wait to get everything started :)

I don't serve much at holidays, but I eat plenty :)  My fav appetizers are my mom's veggie dip and my dad's deviled eggs.  Yum Yum!

My sister makes a fabulous and very spicy chicken wing, well many, lol, with a variety of dipping sauces to suit every taste. After eating about 3 wings I'm ready to call the fire department YIKES!

I LOVE mini pumpkin pies, creamy crab dip and of course bacon-wrappon little smokies.

My mother-in-law makes an amazing french onion/almond dip though. I swear that I gain 10 pounds wtih just that stuff!

I make deviled eggs as well as ham rollups that are always a big hit! Easy to do too. Just buy sliced smoked ham, and in a bowl combine cream cheese, a tad of worteshire sauce, and onion soup mix, Spread this on the ham, roll up, cut in bite sized pieces and put a decorative toothpick in each one to hold. Big hit at our home and usually gone in minutes!
