I always make at least 2 pumpkin pies and one sweet potato pie.  What are you baking or buying this Thanksgiving?

I love homemade pumpkin pie topped with a heaping spoon full of whipped cream!  I have a great recipe for homemade whipped cream too!  I'll put it on my blog!

MmmM, I can taste it already... My mom makes me an individual pie every year, it's a very tart lemon pie! ooOoh, I love it!

Also, I am now hooked on Sweet Tater Pie!! MmmM, I can't wait!!!

We usually have a couple of desserts to choose from. We always make sure to have a sugar-free apple pie for one family member who is diabetic. Since family members contribute various desserts, there's always a surprise too.

YES!!  Sweet Tater Pie is always a hit with our family!  Again, if you top it with fresh whipped cream, that makes it heavenly!!!

Not only do we have three turkeys, but my aunt always makes the most amazing ham with a sweet pineapple sauce. I look forward to it every year & she refuses to divulge her secret recipe!!

I will be making two sweet potatoe pies just like the ones my mother made. My grandmother made them as well so I suspect the rescipe is a combination of the two rescipes.

I'll make pumpkin pie topped with Cool Whip and I also buy a Chocolate Cream Pie.  I might make pumpkin cookies too as my youngest son isn't into pies but does like these cookies.

I LOVE mince pie!  I make individual pies in cupcake pans for our guests each Christmas!  It's part of our traditional English Christmas dinner; Roasted Goose w/ chestnut stuffing, yorkshire pudding w/ gravy, and mushy peas.  Ymmm!

I'm going to have to try making this Pumpkin Cheesecake!!  Maybe I'll just skip the entire dinner this year and have desserts for Thanksgiving!

I seen a recipe the other day for pumpkin cheesecake and wanted to make it but I wanted a dessert that night so I opted for a homemade chocolate cake with cream cheese, pumpkin and spices.

I will be going to my mom's for Thanksgiving. We will probably have pecan pie and some sort of cake. Maybe I'll make the pumpkin cheesecake =) yum!

Cheesecake and ice cream.  I know it's not traditional, but it's what the kids requested.

Okay, the pumpkin cheesecake cupcakes were really, really good. But, last night i made a Caramel Apple Cheesecake and brough it into work this morning... It's already gone and it's only 10am. It disappeared in 2 hours and everyone is wanting another one.. hahaha. I got this receipe from Ms. Paula Dean!

WOW you are not going to believe this but I baked a caramel apple cheese cake and took it into work for a baby shower a few years ago and it was gone in a matter of minutes, honest to goodness truth!!  I wonder if Ms. Dean's recipe is the same one I have??  I'll have to check it out!!  :)

I am making the Hungry Girl Pumpkin Pie for those of us who wish to enjoy the desert with less guilt, it's only 2 points per piece.  In addition to this, there will original Pumpkin pie, country Apple Pie, and Chocolate Delight (for the chocolate lovers!).
