Holiday traditions. What makes the holidays memorable for you? Sipping champagne on New Years? Valentine's for all of your family members? A big pot of beef stew for St. Patrick's Day? Whatever the tradition, this is what your children will remember from their childhood and take on into their own families. This can be, but does not have to be complicated in marriages with mixed cultures or beliefs. If you discuss before your married what your traditions are, you can combine, toss out, or refine traditions so that both sides of the family can be honored. Getting the kids involved makes holidays much more memorable for us as well as kids will say and do some of the funniest things, especially around the holidays. So have fun, be happy and make many memorable moments together celebrating holiday traditions passed down from generation to generation!!!!
