Hitman Review Summary

Reviewers are saying that watching the movie version of Hitman is "like watching someone play the game with real people," after imagining it as "a perfect candidate for the big screen." Bottom-Line: Hitman is just about what you'd expect when a video game makes the leap to the big screen; the translation is all muddled and such.

This movie is action packed and totally entertaining.

fan of Timothy Olyphant, like watching movies

Hitman stars: Timothy Olyphant, Henry Ian Cusick and Dougray Scott. You might recognize Timothy Olyphant from these movies: Gone in 60 seconds, Catch and Release, Live Free or Die Hard.

My husband was excited to watch the movie Hitman because he loves the video game Hitman in which the movie was based on. Since I have never played the game Hitman, I had no idea what the movie was about besides what the title indicates.

In the beginning of the movie, you see young boys with shaved heads getting a tattoo of a barcode on the back of their head. You learn that these boys grow up to be trained...

There was non stop action - from beginning to end

I have liked Timothy Olymphant since I first saw him in the movie Go years ago. He was really great in that movie and he hasn't disappointed me ever since. I wasn't sure what I was going to think of this movie, but it was a pleasant surprise. I actually really enjoyed it. Although I have to warn those who are squirmish this movie isn't for anyone who is doesn't like blood, it was really good. The action was on point and so were the stunts. In between all the action there were even moments that made me laugh, if you have to see one movie this weekend go see this one.

I decided to watch this movie with my friend, I wasn't wanting to but did anyway. I am glad that I watched this movie it was fantastic. I would defitnely buy this movie.

Some video games thrive on their protagonist's lack of dimensionality. The main character of the Eidos Hitman video games doesn't even have a name. He was raised from birth to be a perfect assassin, bearing only the designation Agent 47. Players are invited to freely project their own personalities on this blank slate as they embark on pretend missions of mayhem and death.

But movies have the disadvantage of being a more passive medium, needing to attach personality to characters or risk losing viewer identification. The movie adaptation of Hitman struggles a great deal with this dilemma, attempting...

All I can say is WOW, I liked the action scenes!!!!!!!!!!! It was fast, furious, and so exciting!! All of the moves that he did were so practiced and exactly as if he knew what to do next/ He was such a robot, though, no emotion, until he met the girl, then there was a little bit of humor when he threatend to put her back in the trunk! ANd then when she was drunk and all over him, he injected her with something to put her to sleep, as if he was afraid to get close to her!! It was just a great movie.

Nothing like the game.

This movie is not for anyone who is expecting the movie to be like the eidos video game. The movie only contains one real stealth hit, the rest of the movie is just a run and gun adventure. If you're the kind of person that likes that then its They also tried to fit too much information into the movie in a short amount of time which confuses the viewer. Other than action buffs, I would not recommend this movie to anyone.

Just refer your kids to enjoy Hitman bythe play station game and don't think about take them to the movie for it especially if the kids unders 11yrs old. Also if you interested to collect the DVD just please make sure your kids not consume that. because it involves some sadistic acts inside and thats not good for your kid psichology.. Enchanted is much better for the familly l think.

This movie is graet if you like action and nothing else. There is essentially no point to the movie, but some great action. The acting is pathetic and was disappointing. The video-game lovers will be satsfied with the movie, but won't be exstatic. Overall it was an okay movie that i would recommend to rent on DVD.
