I have always felt that Douglas Adams was an unsung hero in the world of authors, and his brilliance is highlighted in his book, Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy (hhg2g). The story centers around Arthur Dent and the adventure he is dragged into (however unwillingly) after the Earth, his home planet, is demolished. The book chronicles a journey through the parameters of space time, with a cornucopia of other worlds that Adams writes about so clearly, it was as if he had visited each. Along the way, Arthur learns about thousands of things that he did not know, such as the importance to avoid the Ravenous Bugbladder Beast of Traugh, and to ALWAYS know where his towel is. Pick up this book today. You won't be able to put it down...Or stop laughing.
