This Hitachi TV is fantastic!  The sound and picture quality are excellent!  We bought this TV on clearance as a display model.  I was very skeptical as there are very few reviews on it but I am so glad I bought it.  The reviews I could find stated that the reviewers were as skeptica as I was but just as happy with the TV as I am. The HD picture is so great that it looks almost like it is 3D.  One of the reviews actuallly called this TV a "3D Wanna-be".  It was very easy to set up and to connect to our FIOS TV and works very well with our BluRay player.  My husband set up his Harmony remote with no problem.  The only con I see with this TV is the response time to turn on and to change channels - it takes 5-10 seconds.  Even though it is a little slow to start it is a great TV!  It has Coned 3D sound and sounds great!  It also has a USB Multimedia / Upgrade Port and our first upgrade worked seamlessly.
