Hitachi - P42H401 Television Review

I purchased this tv just about 2 years ago at sears for $699 and must say that i'm very impressed with the picture quality. I haven't had any problems with picture distortion, the picture has been great the whole time i've had it. I got a blu-ray player for christmas and with that the picture on this tv is amazing.

The only issue i've ever had with this tv is one day I turned on the tv and the picture came up for about 10 seconds then it shut back off, the red light would blink continously. Well it kept doing this and I couldn't figure out why so I called Hitachi hotline and they couldn't really tell me much so I checked on the internet and found a man who had the same problem, He took the back off and cleaned the dust out and it fixed it. So I did the same thing (which there was alot of dust in the fan) and it worked great I haven't had anymore problems with my Hitachi, I am getting ready to hook HD cable up to it.
