My daughter gave me this himalayan Institute Orginal Neti Pot complete Sinus Cleansing System I think in November. I had never really considered anything like this before. I usually get a sinus infection every winter reguardless of what I do to prevent them. My daughter said use it daily which I started out doing. I ran out of distilled water and could never remember to get any.  Well I got the sinus infection,my daughter  fussed at me because I had not been using the Neti Pot. I went to the doctor and she put me on medication. I told my doctor about having the Neti Pot and she ask why I had not been using it. She said that it was one of the best things on the market to help prevent sinus infections and to start back using it when I got home. She told me it would help  me to get over my sinus infection a lot quicker and would help to clear my clogged sinus so that I would not feel like my head was full. I highly recommend this. I use it in the shower.

I bought a Himalayan Institute Original Neti Pot Complete Sinus Cleansing System Starter Kit about six years ago.  I was on my way to the doctor during cold and flu season with what seemed like the beginnings of a sinus infection, and my friend said that I should try using a neti pot first.  Within a few days of regular use, my sinus pain and drainage went away.  I have not needed to go to the Doctor for sinus problems since I bought my Neti pot.  I am a strong believer in this product. As soon as I start feeling some sinus pressure and sinus drainage, I start using my Neti Pot.  I try to use it 2-3 times through out the day, but using it right before bedtime is a must.  It cleans out all the gunk before I lie down and rest for the night. It is easy to use and clean.  Initially it may take some time to position your head correctly and get used to the sensation of salt water flowing through your sinuses.

I am a big fan of Neti Pots and this Himalayan Institute Original Net Pot Sinus Cleansing System Starter Kit is a great one to get started with. You get everything you need in the first box and it is a great value for the price.  You will have to restock your saline supply after many uses but that is usually dirt cheap. I recommend this to anyone who sniffles, sneezes, or snuffels around me. Anyone with sinus pain, a cold, allergies, etc will benefit from the use of a neti pot.  I think the neti pot is a wonderful way to clean out your sinuses in an all natural, gentle, drug free way. I bought this particular model for my dad who is constantly battleling sinus headaches and infections and he is very drug dependant.  He prefers his drugs. But it wasn't that something was wrong with the product- it preformed fine. On the down side, if you have ever seen a youtube video of someone using a neti pot you know it is a gross process but I encourage you to overcome that give the neti pot a try (just lock the bathroom door so no one can see you).  And if you don't get your head tilted just right you get a feeling of drowning so study the method and suggestions and enjoy those cleaned out sinuses.

I have had rhinitis for years which is basically continual sinus problems due to allergies.  It seemed I ended up on antiobiotics every six months or so.  Then an acquaintance suggested I try the Neti pot and told me how it works to keep your sinuses clear and clean out mucus and allergens that you would not remove with a simple saline rinse in a bottle.  I asked my sinus doctor about it and he highly recommended one but told me to make sure it was not plastic. So I ordererd the Hinalayan Neti Pot kit and have been very pleased.  The salt is fine and dissolves easily and the drops seems to aid in keeping my sinuses feeling clear.  The pot can be easily washed after each use so germs are not a problem next  time you use it.  Because you just bend your head and let the water flow through your nostril there is no pressure to push it into your ear canal.  I've never had a problem with this.  My head feels so much better after I use it and I find I do not get sinus infections.  such a simple concept for such a helpful product.

I have suffered from sinus issues for years however this year has been particularly bad. Everyday I would wake up miserable and just learned to fight the headaches and clogged feeling with a "grain of salt"! I always heard about and considered the netty pot but the thoughts of running water in one nostril and out the other steered me away from purchasing one. Finally one day you could physically see how uncomfortable I was and someone mentioned my next stop needs to be at the drug store for a netty pot. I finally broke down and bought one. Holy moly!!!!! I am like a whole new person! It is an odd feeling the first time you do it but becomes easier and easier each day. My only regret was waiting so long to make this wonderful purchase!!!

Using the Neti Pot is a little challenging to get used to.  Water up the nares is not normal and it does take time to accustom ones self to the sensation.  It is not like getting pool water up your nose it doesn't burn.  It is a little positionally drippy on occasion.  But for effectiveness without drugs or side effects it is FANTASTIC!  I need it to survive allergy season.

I am on blood thinning medication, and so I have to be very careful of any over the counter products I take. Many of them I can't take at all, especially cold and sinus medications. So I bought my Himalayan Institute Original Neti Starter Kit and I have to say, what a great investment! First of all, it does take a bit of getting used to. You put saline wash solution in warm water in the pot (not too hot, not too cold!) stick the end in one nostrile and tilt your head (over a sink, please). Warm saline water works it's way into your sinus cavity and out the other nostrile - looks like magic, feels fantastic, and is an all natural way to help clean out the gunk. If your nose is completely stuffed, it's hard to get the water to work it's way through. Gentle blowing before and after will help. This is much more effective than saline sprays, and if you're just patient, you'll get the hang of it. Then you'll be One with the Pot!
