I liked almost everything about this hotel. The room was large and comfortable, they offered free wireless internet access, the location was great with an enclosed walkway to the convention center, and there are three good places to eat on the premises - 4 if you count Starbucks.  The service was excellent, as well. — — I have only 2 complaints.  First, the hotel's heating/cooling system can only be operated in 1 mode at a time and to change from one to the other requires intervention on the part of the hotel engineering staff. We arrived into Milwaukee almost 2 hours before the check-in time and they had a room for us. Everthing you would expect from the Hilton. My girlfriend and I were heading to a Brewer's game which I had thought was a 705 start, it was actually a 605. The hotel staff was very helpful and giving me a shortcut in sorts of directions and where the best spot to park was. I have been to Milwaukee serveral times, but most I stayed with family and never had to do the navigating myself. we stayed overnight at this hotel in town to visit friends. The check-in process was pleasant and painless. The staff was friendly and courteous and were helpfull in offering us quickly with moving our luggage, even though there were hundreds of others there we were not rushed or treated as a number. Starbucks downstairs was a nice addition and the bellman were more than happy to give us directions to nearby restaurants and clubs. The Hilton Milwaukee City center was one great stay. The room was good sized with two large beds and a great view of the city. Great location as to the Reverside Theater only two blocks away. And what more could you ask for with three different types of resturants. One closet about four by three feet and a full bath with everything you need. In the end i will return and will go with this Hilton. The Hilton Milwaukee City Center is a great hotel for your next Milwaukee visit. Starbucks located in lower lobby was key, as was the bar (open til 2) and the cafe for a delicious breakfast buffet. The staff was extremely attentive and courteous and the room was spacious and comfortable.
