Put the puppy back into this little dog
an animal lover, living with many animals, willing to pay more for quality, selective about pet food, a cat lover, an owner of cats and a dog, very attached to my dog

During a recent pet store visit, I struck up a conversation with the Science Diet rep. I was concerned about my 16-year-old cat's diet. My little cutie pie (aka 9-year-old miniature poodle) was with me so, of course, it didn't take long for the conversation to be all about him. When I mentioned that he's crazy for raw veggies and comes running when he hears chopping in the kitchen, she offered us a small sample bag of Science Diet Nature's Best lamb and brown rice dinner (small bites). He absolutely loved it, so back I went two days later for a larger bag.

I am a bzz agent and received Hills science diet natures best for my Scottish & Carin terrier and  to try. My Scottie is a very picky eater, the dog will not even touch a low fat slice of cheese (he knows the difference)! However he quickly took to the new food. I am excited to try this food out due to the fact it is made with quality ingredients. My little boy has allergies so a quality food with pure ingredients is a must at our house! Nature's Best is a great food for your dog.  No byproducts, corn, or wheat.  Also, since I started feeding it to my Aussie, her hair is much softer.  I think it is the pork fat.  She's never had food with that in it before.  There is also a chicken flavor.  She loves both.

If you have allergy prone dog this is the food to buy! I have two Boston Terriers and my male is allergic to chicken, beef, and yeast. It is very hard to find food that is not an outrageous price, although this isn't the cheapest, it is reasonable. It is clinically proven to provide a balanced nutrition, main ideal body weight, maintain lean muscle mass and avoid excessive body fat. It has antioxidants, natural vitamins and minerals. It is made with real lamb, real garden vegetables and wholesome grains. This food is the absolute best and every dog that has been to my house loves the taste!!! If...

Hills sent us a small sample bag of this food in the mail and when we opened the package our border terrier came running.  This is a dog that we rescued and when she first came home she was eating regular Iams food.  With that food she didn't get excited much about mealtime.  Now when we open the bag she drops everything and comes running.

I find that the best way to tell the quality of a dog food is by the appearance of my dogs's coats.  When I switched my 2 greyhounds from Wal-Mart brand dog food over to Science Diet Lamb & Rice small bites I saw a significant improvement in their coats and overall health.  Additionally they prefer smaller chunks to the large ones.
