Bottom-Line: If you need a quality cat food for adults from a name you can trust, look no further than Hill's Science Diet Hairball Control Formula for Adults.

We've adopted a cat; a beautiful 2-year-old female with gold and white short hair to be exact.  We breezed into Pet-Smart one day and with the intention of adopting a cat after debating the issue for almost a year.  My wife was the driving force behind the adoption; I was just along for the ride.

So once the cat was picked out and bonded with, it was time to pick out the right carry cage, the right toys, the right bed, the right...

I have been using this brand (Hill's Science Diet) since i firt got my cat (or since he first got me).  There are no complaints, only that it is not available in any of the grocery stores i shop at, and the Pet store is out of the way. Luckily it comes in sizes small to huge, so i get the biggest, and also i think, the better value in bulk.  My cat has not had a hairball since using this product, and he seems to like the taste as much as the regular Science Diet chicken flavor.  Some may thinnk this brand to be a bit expensive, but it really is worth the small price increase for value and the... review »

Hairballs can become a problem when you're living with seven cats!  For awhile it seemed like I was always cleaning up their icky hairball barf piles on the carpet.  I started using this food and it has nearly eliminated my hairball problems - has probably cut down on hairballs by 90% at least.  The cats love the food, and I know they are getting great nutrition from Science Diet.  My only gripe about the food is that I have several overweight cats and I had been feeding them Science Diet Light - if only they would make the Hairball Control in a Light version!!

My cats both used to use this formula to try to tame their hairball problems (both being long haired cats we had plenty of them!). It worked pretty well, although they still had furballs and general vomit attacks (sometimes of just food). Once one of the cats was diagnosed with a sensitive stomach, we switched them both to the Science Diet Sensitive Stomach food and neither gets sick as often (including furballs!). Overall, I have enjoyed feeding them the Science Diet brand (and they seem to enjoy it!)

The Science Diet Hairball control is one of the few advertised hairball foods that actually DOES comtrol hairballs!

I have tried several brands of cat food over the years, and the Science Diet is the best. We tried Science Diet on the recommendation of our vet.

Although it is a bit expensive, the Science Diet is worth it because the ingredients are of better quality, so my cats actually eat a bit less. One bag lasts a long time.

Best of all, all of my cats love it!

Hill's Science Diet has a formula that is right for every cat in each stage of life. There's never a question about what to give your pet for proper nutrition. If you know your cats's age and weight, the bag will tell you which formula to buy. Whether you have a kitten, an adult cat or a Senior, Science Diet has their dietary needs covered.

I love Hill's Science Diet is the best. The hairball control formula actually helps control my cats hairballs, as opposed to other brands that only claim to prevent hairballs. My cats definitely love the taste of Hill's Science Diet as opposed to cheaper brands. Hill's Science Diet is definitely worth every penny spent.

My older cat is very picky about his food.  He will eat this dry food before he eats any moist food.  The vet recommended this food when he was have problems keeping food down.  Since we put him on this diet, we have had very few hairballs to clean up and he is a long haired cat.

My cats find Hill's Science Diet Hairball Formula to not be filling enough.  They eat this at twice the rate they eat the indoor cat formula.  But it does go on sale frequently.

Science Diet is the food my vet recomends.  My cat loves it.  There is no better food for cats.  No hairballs!  Really delivers if you can afford it.
