3 of 4 of my dogs really enjoyed Hills Science diet

5

I have 3 adult dogs one that's a year old. 2 are older dogs so i fed them only the canned food and they liked it. They seemed to enjoy it. My third dog only liked it a little but i used the canned food as a topper. My 4th dog is like Mickie she'll eat anything, she's the one that's just turned a year old. I think my older dogs benefited from this food better than the mid to young dogs. They got the pep back in their step I think and once again excited about dinner time. I would recommend this food. It's good healthy ingredients.

Definitely will be buying this again!

Both my dogs LOVED IT! I even had my cousins dog try it - he ate it! And he refuses to eat most foods, even treats. It's a little on the pricey side, but worth every penny if your fur baby likes it.

Hill's Bioactive Recipe

I was sent this sample for free to try on my elderly dog. He is almost 10 years old. He wouldn't even touch it. He sniffed it a few times and walked away and wouldn't even walk over to it after that. I tried it with my son's too younger dogs. They had the same reaction. I gave it to my daughter who has an elderly dog also and she ate some of it but then wouldn't eat anymore. I did love the bag. the closure was awesome and easy to use.

My dog used this food and liked it for approximately 2 years. All the sudden she stopped eating it. She can get funny about food but it was funny how she stopped showing interest.

Science Diet Dogfood is not any good

1

Research shows that S D Dogfood is comparable to eating at MacDonald;s everyday! Don't give it to your dog no matter what your Vet says!! They know nothing about real nutrition.!! I gave my dog the S D 'light' for losing weight.... and she GAINED weight!!! Dogs are carnivores and need protein. The SD food is expensive but not good ingredients. Go to Dog food Advisor to learn more. Hills Science Diet did NOT make the cut. Try dog food that Has Not been Recalled !!

Hills Science Diet, healthy and safe for your furry friend!

4

I was introduced to Hill's Science Diet through my veterinarian when my cat was sick and required a prescription diet. It only made sense to me when I got my puppy that I would feed her the same brand of food. I'm very satisfied with Science diet. My dog loves it and I feel better knowing that I'm feeding her a high quality safe dog food. We started her on the puppy large breed bites and have since moved her up to the adult large breed. I have never had any concerns or problems with this food and I am confident that it is a good choice for my dog. Two major things that give me piece of mind is knowing that my Veterinarian highly recommends this brand, and that I can read the ingredient label. It's true this dog food can be a little pricey. I've cringed on more than one occasion when purchasing it. But honestly you get what you pay for. Quality healthy safe food for mans best friend.

Science Diet: recommended by vets; Why?

1

Though very popular among veterinary offices; Hill's Science Diet is sorely lacking in quality ingredients. When deciphering what is in pet food, simply read the ingredients on the label. They are conveniently listed in descending order for amounts of each product. Science Diet contains mostly corn, wheat, rice---very little meat. The meat proteins that are listed are "chicken by-product meal" and "animal fat"--essentially tissue and fat proteins obtained from the tissues of mammals and/or poultry in the commercial processes of rendering or extracting. The nutrition value is extremely poor. Overall, Hill's Science Diet is an extremely over priced pet food with very poor nutritional content. Quality of Ingredients The ingredients are extremely lacking in nutritional value--consisting mainly of corn, wheat, even peanut shells. The amount of meat and meat proteins is limited; and sources from which they were obtained are of poor quality.
