Most HelpfulI bought the HP Pavilion dv6915nr 3 weeks ago. I Love that laptop. it works perfectly, i can use many programs at the same time. For me its perfect. The sound is perfect. I use this laptop for school, and very soon for college. All the programs work great, it also hasn't given me any kind of problem, and i'm happy to have spent almost 600 bucks for this laptop.
I can't complain (:
first laptop, but an excellent choice. fast, well equiped, cool features, duel core processor, and the best--nvidia graphics. great choice.
I have really enjoyed this product, the HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. I am willing to give it great reviews. I would recommend it to my family and friends. I like the large screen, the built in webcam and microphone. I use it with Skype to communicate with family that live away from me. My children even know how to use it. At first I didn't like the touch mouse, that just takes getting used to after using a regular computer. It is easy to keep clean. Very durable, it has been able to keep up with my three small children. My children like the large screen to watch videos on, they can all three sit...

SCREEN SIZE/WEIGHT:
I have owned my hp pavilion entertainment pc since May 2008. I did a lot of research on which laptop would be best for my needs, and this one kept coming back. I do a lot of graphic design work (and surprisingly, I am not a mac user - GASP!, I know), I am online constantly, and I needed to store A LOT of pictures and video. I purchased the 17.1" widescreen edition because I like to have a lot of screen space for all the windows...
review »I bought an HP Pavillion Entertainment PC about a year ago and have had so many problems with it. For the first 4 or 5 months, it would suddenly shut down by itself or freeze. It still freezes occasionally and all you can do is shut it down. It takes a minimum of 3 minutes to show the desktop after turning it on, but usually it is longer. I get HP updates that pop up several times a month, and if you don't click on their flashing webpage on the toolbar and either cancel or remind later, it shuts down and restarts the machine after 10 minutes, most times. I took it back to Best Buy, and...
review »I purchased my HP Entertainment Notebook at Circuit City and ended up having to take it back to exchange it for another one because it would not work. The machine would not even come on (which made me have questions up front). Either way CC said since I had already purchased this model I could only exchange it for the same model. The second notebook worked and I have had average performance out of it. The battery life is very poor. I followed all the directions listed to charge the battery for the first time but over a couple of months I found that the battery would only stay charged for...
review »I bough this laptop a little while ago and am mostly satisfied. My big gripe is that it came preloaded with a lot of Microsoft programs and is configued to use them. This would be fine except it only has a trial subscription, after that runs out you need to pay for the programs or the computer gets a bit wacky. I haven't caved and paid yet, but am having some trouble emailing and editing photos. I also have to use works instead of word. On the bright side, I have had less problems with crashing and bugs then previous computers. The screen is nice and bright and large. The battery...
review »Love having the ability to take my computer with me. This laptop hit me at the store and I fell in love with it.
Only problem is, the mouse is very very sensitive, even after making the adjustments to correct it. Every time I typed, my mouse would move around and I would be typing places I shouldn't be typing and it would mess everything up. So I had to lock the laptop's mouse and plug in my spare.
