Hewlett Packard HP Pavilion Entertainment PC Review

I purchased my HP Entertainment Notebook at Circuit City and ended up having to take it back to exchange it for another one because it would not work. The machine would not even come on (which made me have questions up front). Either way CC said since I had already purchased this model I could only exchange it for the same model.  The second notebook worked and I have had average performance out of it.  The battery life is very poor.  I followed all the directions listed to charge the battery for the first time but over a couple of months I found that the battery would only stay charged for about 30-45 minutes (not what was advertised with the machine).  I like the card reader for photos and i think it was a fair buy for the price that I paid in comparision with other notebooks but if you have a little extra to put into your laptop then I recommend you trying a different notebook.  You get what you pay for.  Overall I am somewhat satisfied with mine. Works well for what I use it for (everyday email, searches, etc.).
