HP desk tops are the absolute worst. My first desktop circa Windows 98 was so under-powered, and had so little memory that it used to freeze up just playing solitaire, and cost me a fortune. I had purchased an extend warranty that the company absolutely refused to honor. I finally gave it away and bought an e-machine for a third as much which ran perfectly.
HP's glory days of Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard tinkering in the garage are long behind this company which no longer has anything cutting edge except their state of the art prices.
