I purchased a nice desktop from Hp a little over 2 years ago and i just love my computer. It came with so many features i have yet to explore everything on my pc. Very easy to use for my little ones also. Their customer service is amazing and easy to chat with. The price that i had paid was not bad at all, i believe i had paid about 400 less then i would have paid for a different brand with almost the same features. It truly is worth the money, i have a dual dvd/cd drive burner, lightscribe, subwoofer speaker, vista/ xp, etc. This pc was and is truly worth every…

We purchased an HP notebook computer on sale with the intent of putting linux on it and using it as a travel computer -- wireless connectivity was essential. It turns out that most HP notebooks use a proprietary wireless chipset, the manufacturer of which refuses to provide essential information for the construction of drivers under linux. We restored the computer to virginity with the recovery DVDs we had made (FIRST THING TO DO no matter what you intend to do with the machine) and returned it. — — It was a fine machine otherwise, except for the shiny screen which is…

My husband needed a new computer, we looked for months. He found an HP laptop he liked, I found a better one for less money. I am not sure I like "Vista" yet but its growing on me as I have not had to do major repairs while at home as it seems to have good protection against many things online. There was not to much junk prgrams included wtih the computer. HP makes a good laptop. I also bought the "docking station" and thats GREAT! highly recommend that with your laptop purchase. —…

I bought an HP laptop in September 2007. It is very durable, I haul it all over the place for my work as well as school. — It is always reliable, it does take a long time to boot up first thing after being shut down, but I really like the sleep mode... you put it to sleep when not using it, and it comes back up really quick the next time. — …

When I first got this Compaq Presario.. which i did not realize was just a HP computer with a different name, it was a great package. Great processor, Got a wide screen 19". I don't know all the specs anymore. Most people would say my computer is out dated because i got it over a year ago, but it was the first computer to come out with Windows Vista.. which I thought was great.. I have the latest program.. PAIN. Vista word processing programs have trouble interfacing with WIndows XP.. So if you have to take your word docs to get printed anywhere that does not work with Vista, They can't…
