HP's stuff works well at first, but if you have any problem, kiss yo' money goodbye!

First, they use small cheap parts inside so they'll break easily.  Ironically, always when the warranty runs out.  It costs so much more to fix it (not to mention the hassle-from-hell) than to buy a new one.

Second, support is non-existent.  Bad phone numbers, if you're lucky enough to get through the gauntlet of requirements for support, you end up being literally transferred around the globe, yet nobody ever helps,

I have used HP for 25 years and I've spent LOTS.  Never another penny.  They do NOT deserve it.
