Hewlett Packard desktop computers Review

I had an unfortunate incident with my old Dell computer recently and had to go purchase a new computer post haste.  I compiled a list of requirements beforehand and went prepared to purchase.  I ended up getting the HP w1707 with Vista.  If you are an avid gamer you will have to upgrade the video card as the original is unequal to the task of handling complex graphics.  I don't have a need for this so the video card is quite adequate for everyday purposes.  I mostly use my desktop to shop, blog, print coupons, watch videos, email and generally keep up with the latest news and information.   There is 500 GB of memory.  I download a lot of music and keep pictures on my hardrive to send to family and for use on my blog.  A lot of people have complained about the Vista operating system but I really like it and have had no problems with it at all.  It reminds me what I have to do, which is nice for an absent-minded mom.  The monitor is 17 in. flatscreen, very clear image.  The sound leaves a lot to be desired so this is not for music listeners.
