Hewlett Packard PhotoSmart D7260 Printer Review

I purchased the HP Photosmart D7260 to replace a 10+ year old HP inkjet and have very pleased with my purchase.  I have always liked HP products and this printer is no exception.  From everyday document printing to 4x6 photos, this printer provides excellent quality at a great price.  Below are a few of the stand out features that influenced my purchase of this product.

The HP name is almost synonymous with inkjet technology and availability.  I knew that I would be able to find ink for this printer just about anywhere PC's are sold.

The built in ethernet was a must have for me.  It allows me to share the printer with all the other PC's in the house through my wireless router.  In fact, this was the key feature that swayed my purchase.

The new six cartridge ink system is a nice money saver when it comes time for new cartridges.  Instead of buying a single $40 plus color cartridge, I now only have to spend $10 on the color that I need.

I have not yet used the other connectivity features of the printer such as the memory stick and memory card slots, but if you were looking for a standalone photo print station, then these connectivity features would be very hand.

Another nice feature is the large touch screen interface.  It allows me to check my ink levels on the fly without having to navigate through several menu systems on my PC.

Overall this is a great printer with many high end features that any home PC user would appreciate.  I would definitely recommend the HP Photosmart D7260.
