Hewlett Packard Pavilion DV9000Z 17" Screen Laptop — 

The Hewlett Packard Pavilion DV9000Z 17" Screen Laptop  is the last HP product I will ever buy.  I have, currently and in the past, owned many HP desktops and laptops.  Every single item has had poor quality and problems.  The latest laptop had a problem while it was still under warranty, so after many hours dealing with customer support overseas, the problem was finally resolved.  The latest problem with the power cord occurred right after the warranty expired.  I went back to the store where I purchased the laptop and when the salesperson looked up the computer on the internet he commented that this laptop has had a lot of problems and recalls.  Since there was a recall with the power cord, he suggested that I contact HP support.  I attempted but HP support is horrible!  First of all, you'll need to struggle to comprehend them through their accents.  One support person actually told me the recall had expired...I have never heard of a recall expiring, especially on a product less than 2 years old.  Anyway, I finally gave up and will take my business elsewhere from now on.
