Hewlett Packard Pavilion DV9000Z 17" Screen Laptop —
We shopped around for a laptop that was a good price. We needed something that was fast enough for my husband to work on (he is a programmer) as well as be easy for me to use. This laptop fit all of our criteria and has, in my opinion, been a great buy. The computer itself is very light and is easy to carry around. The built-in wireless has been great for casual net surfing on the couch. We had a laptop before that would get very hot on the bottom to where you could not set it on your lap and had to be on a hard surface. This particular laptop does not have the heat problem, and I can set up comfortably on the couch with it in my lap without having to worry that it will get too hot. It starts up right away when its turned on, which is fantastic. The only problem with it that I could identify is that it has crashed a couple of times when streaming large videos. Otherwise, its a great product for the price.
