We purchased this HP Pavilion Computer before the holidays and have been thrilled with its performance.  We had heard alot about the Vista System but we have not encountered one problem and hope it remains that way!!  The keyboard and 22 inch screen is also perfect for our needs.  I use the computer constantly and when playing my games on it, the graphics are sharp in quality.  My wife uses the computer for writing her children's books and has remarked how the keyboard has a nice touch to it and the Office 2007 works very well on our new computer.  Burning DVDs is quick and easy.  The Blu-ray...

Have no fear when the Pavilion is NEAR! From the computer slow to the computer savvy...This machine gets it done! HP definitely created a winner with this sturdy machine. I would rate myself to be moderate when it comes to issues related to the computer world. I'm far from being  an expert, but I can navigate my way around and definitely find the answers to my own questions. I bought my Pavilion Elite m9400t on-line and purchasing it was very easy.  I received replies quickly and was able to chat with them on-line easily.  However, my system kept getting the "blue screen of death (bsod)".  At first I thought it was a glitch, but it happened more and more frequently.  I contacted HP who said it was because I had a dual-boot on the computer, but I knew better.  I had to talk with at least 3-4 techs before one finally understood what I was talking about.  Most of the techs they had were reading a script or couldn't get around the basics of troubleshooting.  I...

I bought my HP Pavilion  A6703w to edit my digital pictures and surf the internet.  This is the best computer ever.  It's lightning fast with tons of memory.  My pictures look great on the 19 inch monitor, it has the best color I have ever seen.   It makes it easy to edit pictures when you can see every wrinkle.  Movies look great on it as well, you see little details that you don't always see on a TV. It also has the USB ports and slots for the SD card on the front, which makes it simple to download my pics and easy to plug in the "eye" for my wireless mouse.  The sound is great as well,...

I love my Hp it was the second coumputer I got after my first one crashed i have had no problems.the only thing i dont care for is that it comces with vista and i pefer xp.but if you dont mind vista it would be a good desk top for beginers or comuter savy

My Hewlett Packard Hp Pavilion has been a good reliable machine for the past year and a half. I have had some bad luck with computers giving out on me, but so far this one's been fine. I like all the extra storage space (over  500 GB  hard drives) plenty of room to store pictures, music and video. I also don't have any problems, really, with Windows     Vista. I've been getting around it just fine! (of course they've got a new one comming out soon!)
