When my husband first gave me the Hewlett Packard - HP Photosmart R937 Digital Camera I was a little bit skeptical. It was BIG, ok not that big, but bigger than my very first digital camera and the LCD touchscreen was a little imposing. But we both knew I needed a better digital camera not only for personal use but professional, and it saves me money on photos of the kids!

This camera is not only unique as digital cameras go, but it is easy to use. It was purchased as a gift for my 21 year old daughter in lue of a digital SLR camera. The touchscreen on it is the largest I've seen for a camera of this variety. It's ease of use & multiple functions, made it a valuable assest as well as wonderful compliment to our already owned HP computer. No computer is needed to access the functions on the camera, which makes on the go editing a breeze! This camera was purchased for my 14 year old as a gift. My requirements before buying it; it needs to be simple and not cost a fortune. She did all the research and asked for the HP.. I agreed, knowing setup would be simple to her laptop..Wow, was I surprised, the HP R937 has to be the best camera out there. The price is GREAT..under $200.00 and the quality of the photos are amazing. The added bonus of color changes, cropping and rotating...etc on the touch screen makes everything so easy. I have to travel a lot with my job and need to take several pictures of each place I go. The camera is small, takes great, clear pictures, it's cheap enough if I loose it, it will not break the bank if I have to replce it.

HP Digital Camera R 937 with a great viewfinder

I bought this camera last fall and have been very pleased with it thus far. The greatest feature is the large viewfinder...bigger by far than any other camera I've seen on the market. The picture quality is very good although it's time consuming to set the red-eye remover. The menu is extensive, and the camera has a stylus on the strap so you can easily move through the menu. Pictures can quickly be downloaded onto the computer or I can download them to my HP Photosmart printer. Overall, this camera was a good purchase.
