Hewlett Packard HP Pavilion dv2000 Reviews

While the HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop computer seems like a value for your money, it really is not.  The operating system is windows vista and there are just too many problems and headaches with that operating system.  The updates caused our computer to start running really slow.  Then the computer started shutting itself off and turning itself back on by itself.  Sometimes when we turned the computer on, the lights at the top of the keyboard would be lit up and we would have sound but the screen was blank and there was nothing you could do except to turn the computer off and then turn it back...

I bought this in order to have a portable pc for travelling.  It's nice and small, not quite as small as a mac but it works.  It has decent processing speed.  The best thing was the price.  You get a lot with this laptop for a reasonable price.  If you've got the money go with the mac but if you want a great laptop while saving $1000 then go for the hp.

This was the first laptop I have ever bought and I did lots of research to prepare for the purchase.  I have been very pleased with the laptop It has MORE than met my expectations.  It has a lightscribe feature that actually burns the image on specially purchased discs.  I choose NOT to use this feature just becasue of the expense of the discs and I choose to print COLORFUL labels on discs with my HP printer.  The duo core processor is enough to handle my processing needs.  I do lots of video processing and it is plenty capable of handling this burden.  It has a built in webcam which is another...
