We at HiTech Integrated Solutions (fire Alarm Company i work for) Just got 4 of the HP Mini Laptops From Verizon 1151nr Hp Net book. To start the whole thing off, One guy got his and left his desk for about five minutes, we sharpened a pencile down until it was tiny, and we set some miniature 1/2 inch post it's all on top of his little note book. It was really funny for him to come back and see that all of his supplies had been miniaturized. He did not laugh.

But let's dig into the tech portion.

screen is very very small. Verizon says the screen area is ten inches, I would assume that is the diagonal corner measurement that no human thinks of as a standard.  truth is, it's around seven inches from left to right and about three and a half from bottom to top. that's just the screen area. Beleive me, if you have good eyesight, this will only mess you up. there is no video out connection, well there is this weird video connection that is nothing close to standard anything, not hdmi not dvi, not vga not S-Video. Heck I would accept S Video on that little machine and be ok with that. but no, not an option.

Hp does sell a Docking station that does come with Video connections and 4 usb connections. That is a plus, that allows you to stretch a bit.

The mobility of the  netbook is Excellent, will fit in the pockts of my cargo pants. To bad that everything that laptop does, I can do with my cell phone, and my cell phone has opera mini browser, it comes with a magnifying glass for zooming in. The processor is a nice hearty 1.6 gig processor, You need it while searching for a network.

Battery life was not appealing at all. By the time I get all booted up and everything running I get about 45 minutes of battery.

$199 was an ok price but I would preffer a cell phone, at least with the phone I can make calls.


I suggest you save your money or buy what ever phone has the largest screen. You can take
that phone into most places.
