Hewlett Packard HP G60 235DX Laptop Reviews

I bought my HP G60 earlier this year and am still in love with it every time I use it! The HD screen makes for a beautiful movie viewer if I find myself away from a TV, and the speakers make it easy to use this notebook as my portable stereo.  The keyboard is relatively quiet and very large, including a full numerical keyboard on the right, which I find VERY useful if I'm doing bills online!

The mouse touch-pad is highly responsive, and the built-in scrollbar on the right is so incredibly useful, I'd be lost without it!  The keys are durable and the keyboard is easy to navigate.  The battery...

There are so many good point here below I'll list just a few. First I'd like to say that the tech service at hp is by far superior to any tech service that I have ever enciuntered.

Pros: I love the 350G hard drive and 3G starting RAM. The design is very clean and simple. I am full-time employed and I live on the computerI would be lost without it. I have a lot going on and this is just the "work horse" laptop with extras I was looking for.

Cons: The only thing I'd add to it would be keypad volume controls. Or so I thought after futher review even that's there so I have no complaints.

The HP G60-235 DX is my first laptop I bought in Febuary 2009.  It has a 16.0" diagonal widescreen, and is optimized for hdtv. Has 320 GB hard drive that is a big plus for me.I have not been able to use all the programs on it yet, but so far I love it.  The only thing that is the volume is lower and not as loud than i'm used to.  But since this is my first laptop, maybe that is how all of them are.  I searched many laptops before buying this one, and this one had the most features for it's price.  And a plus is it has a webcam.  Not all laptops that was in my price range had a webcam offered. ...

I stay at home and manage a family of 7, I pay my bills, manage accounts, keep up with friends, make doctors appointments, review work, make money basically I live my life through my computer and this computer makes it easier for me the keys click so easy and the screen is so big I love it, i've had offers from people to buy it but even though I know I can always buy another I just don't want to part with it. I bought my G60 refurbished from Overstock, and I am very happy with it!

Screen is large and bright (even on power save I can read it well on the train.)  Processing speed is good for its generation, graphics are good, and the feel of the keyboard is excellent.

Battery life seems to be fair, but I'm always running a USB device, so I know its sucking down power.  My only real regret is that it's hard drive is a little small.  It seems Im having to constantly manage things off to an external drive.

This computer is great.  Very user friendly and is great with the added number keypad on the side.  The keypad is much different and a very nice feeling on te finger tips.  I love the ability to turn the mouse on/off with the touch of a button.  I thought with the silver type finish, that it would show lots of finger prints but that's not the case.  Comes with Windows Vista.  Highly recommended.
