THIS IS A GREAT LAPTOP. IT'S SPEED IS VERY FAST, EVEN FOR DIAL UP. I LOVE THE CONVIENCE OF HAVING A LAPTOP. IT COMES WITH LOTS OF EXTRA'S TOO. THE SCREEN IS 16:9. IT IS A NICE SIZE SCREEN, QUITE LARGE COMPARED TO OTHER BRANDS. IT IS A WIDESCREEN TOO. THIS HP IS ALSO OPTIMIZED FOR HD TV AND OTHER HIGH DEFINITION MEDIA FORMAT PLAYBACK. IT ALSO HAS A HP IMPRINT FINISH FOR A HIGHLY POLISHED SOPHISTICATION AND GREATER DURABILITY THAN TRADITIONAL PAINTED SURFACES. I needed a new computer recently, because my desktop broke down. I asked friends, family and checked online to see what a great computer was, but not tooexpensive.  The answer was HP. Then I decided I need a computer that's light weight and I can use anywhere. That's when I decided on a laptop and it was the best decision ever. The HP Laptop was mid range price wise, not too cheap and not too expensive.  The 16 inch screen is the perfect size, great picture quality for online videos. I love the built in wireless modem capability. I ended up getting a wireless router for my highspeed cable modem...

I purchased my HP G60-235 Notebook PC a few months ago for $600 at a Best Buy in York, PA. I originally went there with the lowest price in mind which for me was about $350 which is basically your cheapest laptop. Toshiba had one for that price and there were a couple Compaqs fairly close to that price also. What attracted me most about this product was the specifications though it was more than I planned to spend. Well, needless to say I wasn't too thrilled with the specs for the Notebooks $350-$500 and I do believe this HP model was actually the cheapest they carried at this specific Best Buy....

I got this laptop for a gift. I love it. It was a great price. Does amazing things. Comes with webcam and dvd burner.
