This show is great! The acting is great, the story lines are great, everything's great! The only drawback is that if you miss any episodes you can get really confused. My husband and I only caught some of the first season and were really lost so we had to buy the DVD set to catch up for season 2. There are quite a few story lines, which also makes it a little hard to follow, but that is partly what makes it so good! I definitely recommend using your DVR for this one so you don't miss a second! (Plus then you can fast forward thru those pesky commercials and get more Heroes!)
