If you liked "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon", you will like "Hero". Jet Li and Zhang Ziyi (from Crouching Tiger) play in this action packed movie of amazing fight sequences.

Storyline: "Hero" begins with the telling of an intricate tale about bringing down three of the most elite assassins by a nameless warrior (Jet Li). What unfolds next is an amazing story of beautiful photography and the art of choreography.

Why I liked it: The sound effects in "Hero" are outstanding. The dripping of water, the sound ones shoe makes on wet concrete during a fight scene, water on a metal sword, weapon clashing with weapon, a sword fight on water, a blade slicing through sand, the draw of 100 bows. Never has sound been so pronounced and noticed before, it's so beautiful. The whole movie is a beautiful dance. The visual art when not in a fight scene is amazing and breathtaking. Jet Li is a master of the arts...martial arts. "Hero" itself is a piece of art. It's another great foreign movie like no other I've seen. It takes "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" and goes five steps farther. "Hero" is a must see that will keep you intrigued and glued to your seat.
