I've been trying to lose weight for many years and would be what is considered a yo-yo dieter. With several successes under my belt (pun intended), I've also had many failures and have never been happy with the number on my scale. I'm finally at a point in my life where it's better for me to concentrate on being healthy and not constantly watching the digits beneath my toes. Since I was introduced to Herbalife, I know that achieving a healthy lifestyle is possible.
I've tried several Herbalife products and one of my favorites is the Herbal Tea Concentrate. The tea comes in four different flavors: original, lemon, peach, and raspberry. Each flavor tastes great and I like to switch them up on occasion for a refreshing treat. I always drink my tea cold but it can also be drank as a hot tea.
The tea is promoted as being able to increase energy and metabolism with the Herbalife website stating that it is a "delicious instant tea with the antioxidant and thermogenic benefits of green tea and fast-acting botanicals for energy and weight-management support." *
My Herbalife distributor told me that one serving burns 70 calories but I cannot find any published information supporting that claim. Sure it would be great if it were true, but that's not why I drink this tea. I drink it because it tastes great, is good for me, and is a terrific replacement for soda pop and juice.
Obviously, Herbalife would prefer that their Herbal Tea Concentrate be purchased through one of their distributors, but doing a quick online search shows that it is sold on auction and other independent websites (often for less than the retail price). I buy mine from my distributor for just over $20 for a 1.8 oz. bottle, which contains thirty 1/2 teaspoon servings. Yes, it's pricey compared to tea sold at the grocery store, but it's something that I treat myself to in the quest for obtaining a healthy lifestyle. I really can't put a price tag on that.
* Note: The following is a disclaimer on the side of the bottle of tea "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease."
