I recently went in search of a new shampoo. Lately my hair had been feeling sort of thirsty. I was in serious need of a product that wouldn't strip the $150 dollar caramel highlight job I had done but at the same time provide me with a softness and bounce to my hair. I wanted healthy, lush feeling hair. I tried a few of the more expensive salon brands and just wasn't feeling it. I found I had to use quite a bit more shampoo than normal and would have to add a conditioning treatment which ended up just leaving my hair heavy and flat. So, there I was, standing in the aisle at my local big box store debating with myself over the dozens of brands of shampoo with conditioner. For me that was key. I've got four kids and let's be honest, there are days when I don't exactly get five minutes to pee let alone shower! So, thinking about this I realized I would need a hydrating shampoo with built in conditioning power and there it was right infront of me! Clariol's Hello Hydration! 2 in 1 Shampoo. I have to say that the price was right, the packaging attractive and the scent very pleasing and light but I knew that the real test would be what my four year old would say after shampooing and blowdrying my hair. He's the official thumbs up guy. I was amazed at the rich lather and great scent. My hair, which is well past my shoulders, thick and wavey, did not knot or tangle. I was happy so far. After blowdrying my hair and seeing the shine, noticing how the light reflected off those oh so expensive salon highlights and feeling the soft healthy texture of my hair...well, I knew I had found my new favorite. The real test, though, was to see if my son agreed. I asked him what he thought of mommy's hair. He told me bend over, he sniffed the top of my head and said "smells pretty" then brushed my hair with his little fingers and said "oooh, mommy. Your hair must be so happy." Yep. My hair is soooo happy!
