Herbal Essences Body Envy Review

Like every woman, I often find myself hating my hair.  It’s so fine that nothing can be done with it.  It won’t hold a curl, even it I get it permed!  It’s too dark, it’s too light.  It won’t cooperate.  I hate the cut.  Yadda-yadda-yadda.  One thing I’ve learned, though, is that your hair reflects the products you use.  I have tried all kinds of different products – both from the shelf and from the hair salon.  While some of those hair salon products are damn good, they’re also damn expensive (I also can never remember the strange names of the couple I’ve used).  Some “over-the-counter” (if I may call them that) shampoos are great at first, but after a week I find my hair goopy and lifeless.  One product that has always worked for me, though, is Herbal Essences Body Envy collection.  I love it!  It smells nice, it comes in two nice sizes (small or huge – you don’t need a middle ground when it comes to decent shampoo), it makes me hair look and feel healthy and clean…but most of all, it’s cheap! 

I had a roommate who use to buy the expensive salon shampoos (I’m sure there’s another name for them, but I don’t know what it is).  She would spend about $100 (sometimes more) on shampoo and conditioner, use it a couple of times, hate it, and go back to the cheap shampoos.  This happened about once or twice a month.  I, on the other hand, saved about $95 by sticking to what I knew worked – Herbal Essences.

I’ve tried most of the collections Herbal Essences has out there (Long-Term Relationship, Deep Clean, Color-Me-Happy, Hydralicious, Body Envy, Hello Hydration, Break’s Over, Totally Twisted, and None of Your Frizzness – did I mention I love Herbal Essences?) and I always go back to Body Envy...probably because it suits my hair best.

So if you’re having problems with a current shampoo or you’re trying to find a cheaper alternative, try Herbal Essences.  It leaves my hair looking and feeling soft, clean, and healthy consistently.  That’s way more than I can say for a majority of other products.
