Our reviewers say that's hogwash but this inexpensive mousse smells delish and it does add some volume to their hair. It holds softly with no stickiness unless it's over applied. Some reviewers did note little white flakes after Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Mousse dried in their hair but aren't sure if that is from using too much or if it's just a flaw of the product itself. This product works fairly well.  I find it works best with a curling iron (I'm not using it so much for volume as for it to hold in place) instead of a hairdryer.  It tends to leave white dandruff-looking spots though, if you muss you hair too much, where it is.  Other than that, it's a good product.... review »

I don't envy the body this mousse provides. Not enough volume.

Quick View: A fabulous smelling mouse that's good but not great. I think I like it more for the scent than the actual performance. It's cheap though and works as well as some expensive mousses.

Herbal Essences Volumizing Mousse - A Friend to Fine, Flat Hair.

I have always believed that making my hair look good when down is an impossible task.  My hair is fine, thin, flat, and boring.  Hair spray does me no good, it slips right off of the strands, regular mousse and gel makes it look greasy and flat, and I can throw my head back and forth as much as I want, it makes absolutely no difference.

 I have my mom to thank for my lifeless hair, so she has been searching for a solution to this hair issue for quite some time.  I went home for a short break from college and left my hair products at school expecting to use the products at my house that my...
