I tend to go through blow dryers on an annual basis, so it seems that way lately.  The longest I've gone was 2 years but I don't remember what dryer that was.  When my latest one died, I was in a pinch and went to the nearest salon supply store.  This was the longest visit of my life becasue I was looking for something specific, ionic feature.  With the help of the store lady, she suggested Helen of Troy Professional Ceramic Series.  As nervous as I was, I hate it when dryers frizz out my hair or takes forever to dry.  This didn't at all!  An added bonus was a longer cord!  I have a little bit more freedom to move about when I am getting myself ready, whenever that may be.  With simple buttons, I can control the speed (high or low), the heat (high, medium, or low), and the cool shot button.  With the removeable filter, I can clean it out, rinse it and let it dry over night ready for next use.  It is easy to manage.  Did I mention the cord was long?!
