I was at Big Lots a while ago just looking around when I spotted Hefty Serve 'n Store Everyday Tableware with Interlocking Rims for $2.00 for 35 plates.  I thought these were pretty cool.  I never knew they existed but apparently they have been around for quite a while.  I absolutely love the idea that the plates interlock.  What a great concept.  In the summer with picnics outdoors, there are constantly bugs flying around and it drives me insane when I see one anywhere near my food.   I will often get up to get a drink or help my kids and there my plate is ... a wonderful bug buffet. ...

These serve 'n store items are durable and easy to use.

These are very durable and stand up to even the heartiest barbeque.  It is wonderful to know you can cover any leftovers or take with you plates with another plate and have it secured.  You don't have to fumble with plastic wrap or try to use foil to cover anything that is left over.  These also will handle cutting of barbequed meats with ease and not leak on your lap.  Great idea.

too busy to make beds

Hefty snap n serve plates are an excellent product.  The only problem is that since the first time i bought them i cant find them again in any stores in my town.
