I certainly don't have the historical perspective of the local reviewer, as I only discovered Heaven on Seven while visiting Chicago several weeks ago, but my partner and I thought it was great--comfortable atmosphere, swell wait staff, Matzo Ball soup to die for...

We went back for a second visit, but alas, it was New Year' s Day and the place was closed. I hope it won't be long before I can visit again.
