My vet suggested it, but my cat won't eat it!

Heartgard Plus Chewables —
I have an indoor only cat, that was a stray when I took her in 12 years ago. Because of her age I take her to the veterinarian at least twice a year, and once a year she has blood work done. My veterinarian recommended heartgard as a proactive measure, because a few months ago she had fleas. The thing is I can't get her to take the pill. And its so large that I won't just shove it in like any other medicine. I think it is probably the flavor, as she is a HUGE fan of fish, and not so much of beef.
