Heartgard is cheap to buy and expensive to treat if not bought

Dog Owner, very attached to my dog, an animal lover, willing to pay for quality, have a great veterinarian, a pet owner, an animal rescuer
Pros

    chewable, Effective and cost efficient, affordable, Easy to give

Cons
    Only one flavor - beef, Some pets may be allergic

While working at a veterinary clinic i'll be the first to tell Heartworms are horrible parasites. But since heartgard they are not cheap to prevent and very expensive to treat. Heartworm treatment on dogs are a horrible process, a large needle must be stuck straight into thier heart and usually after and during treatment the dogs are lethargic, throw up and are just plain miserable. Heartgard Prevents this and makes it so your furry friend doesn't have to go through this painstaking experience. So be a responsible pet owner and prevent heartworms.
