Pros

    chewable, Effective and cost efficient, Easy to give

My 6 year-old German Shephard hates taking medicines.  We used to hide it in his treats (cheese, lunch meat, etc.) but he literally will spit it out, dig the pill out and eat the treat while the pill lies on the floor, melting.  With the HeartGard, he just gobbles it right up like it is a treat.  If they could make all pet medicines in this form, I would never have to toss a pill down his throat again!
