This is the best mattress ever. It is softer than I originally expected, but it still provides plenty of support for my back. We did get it on sale, which makes the mattress even better to me. I would have been pleased with it even at full price. We have had this mattress for a couple of years now, and we have had no problems with it. I expect it to last a long time, especially since it comes with a guarantee. Comfort This mattress is very soft and comfortable. I thought it would take some adjusting as it is drastically different from our former box spring mattress, but both my husband and I slept well. Support Provides plenty of support and really helped with my lower back pain. Firmness Mattress is a little softer than I expected, but that is not detrimental at all. I have been sleeping on my new mattress and although I was ready to review it after a few nights I waited to make sure the review would be accurate. I can easily rate this as the best and most comfortable mattress I have had in my adult years. It is both soft like memory foam and also a little squishy and bouncy like regular mattresses. I have spinal arthritis which means a lot of back pain during sleep and this mattress has helped lessen that pain and improved my quality of sleep, I find it easier to get up with less pain in the mornings. My husband is very satisfied and wakes up well rested, and is raving about how comfortable this mattress is. Before I settled on Healthy Foundations 10-inch memory foam mattress, I must have tried out every single mattress type in existence. I talked to everyone I could find about their mattress, checked out every company I could check, read everything I could about memory foam. What sold me on Healthy Foundations was the 365 day money-back guarantee - and the hundreds of positive glowing reviews about both the product and the company itself. I have severe arthritis. I woke up in pain every single day. I was so stiff in the mornings it would take me hours to be able to bend even a little. I was sleep deprived and depressed - and I really didn't see things getting any better for me. When it was time to buy a new mattress, I decided to check out memory foam. I had seen the Tempurpedic commercials and they looked promising. Unfortunately, I also had a budget to keep to. So I began to do some research, which eventually led me to the Healthy Foundations website. This company should be given an award just for the website alone. There is so much GOOD information there, not just about their product but about memory foam in general. They manage to tell you the difference between their mattresses and toppers and the others out there without slamming the competition (unlike some other companies I could mention, like a certain air bed company!) There is no hard sell whatsoever, no rants, no hype. And yet their credentials are impressive, as are the reviews and testimonials from their customers. The big difference in this company is the guarantee - 365 days. I don't think there's any other company for ANY product that will let you return it after a year of use! Everything they say on the website is true. There are even videos that tell you how to set up the mattress. It took a few days to make the decision; ordering a mattress online, without being able to try it out first, is risky. But the website convinced us, and after all, if we didn't like it we could easily send it back. When I called to place the order, I had a couple of questions. The friendly lady on the phone answered them readily and completely. I ordered the mattress on Monday. She told me it would be here on Wednesday. I didn't really believe her, but sure enough, Wednesday morning the mattress arrived. It came rolled up like a sausage wrapped in plastic. My son carried into the bedroom and cut the plastic off and the mattress popped out and unrolled itself. The company claims there is no odor from their beds and toppers (every other one I've checked out has a terrible odor from the chemicals used in them, and this odor can last for as long as a year as the foam releases gases) and there was not, not even a little bit. I let the mattress puff up for a few hours and then tried it out. The first night it seemed like I woke up every fifteen minutes. My body was so unused to relaxing at night that it kept jerking awake as soon as I drifted off. The second night, I slept for a solid eight hours in the exact same position in which I fell asleep. That second morning I actually cried I was so overwhelmed. I woke up with no stiffness. I was able to get out of bed quickly and easily and move around right away. Even my hands felt better from not having the circulation restricted overnight. I couldn't believe it. If I hadn't experienced it, I WOULDN'T believe it. On top of that, my sinuses were clear - an added bonus (dust mites can't live in memory foam and they don't collect dust like regular mattresses do.) I ordered a 2-inch topper from them to take with me when I have to sleep away from home. Everybody is different, and comfort is a very personal thing.
