My honey deserted me for the last two weeks in favor of her father on the other coast. After a week of snacks. eating out, and emptying the freezer and refrigerator I went to the store. One of the things I brought home (not a gourmet cook gene in this body) was a new freezer item from Con Agra, the massive food conglomerate. This are decent priced, easy to make (4 minutes) and delicious! You could be fooled into thinking you were eating something you made yourself! They are also pretty low in calories - which you can't tell by the taste!!! I'm always trying new frozen dinners to take for lunch at work. I bought one of the Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers, Chicken Margherita, and loved it. Because the meat was steam cooked, it didn't have your usual rubbery texture. After trying it I have gone on and bought Grilled Basil Chicken, Marinara Chicken, Beef Merlot, & Creamy Dill Salmon and each just as good as the last. I recently started counting calories and have been checking out the different brands trying to control my calorie intake. As a rule I have found that Healthy Choice is not at the top of my list for taste. I have found that in general I prefer the selections offered by Weight Watchers.
