For about a year or so I have had this raised bump on the side of my lower leg. if i push it I kind of feel something and the area is a lot warmer than the rest of my skin. I don't know if it is serious or not? Or what it could be? Any ideas?

I'm not trying to be mean or thoughtless, but you should see a doctor. No one here is a doctor and any information we give you could be made completely wrong the moment you see a doctor. Don't put it off any longer... if this thing is occupying your thoughts, you need to find out. Whatever it costs to see a doctor, it will be worth it for you.

Please don't delay -- see a doctor. And good luck!

I agree with Bob -- by all means, see a doctor.  It might just be a harmless cyst but you will feel better when you know for sure.
