I wish I had the answer, Katrena! I have an aunt that quit smoking a few years ago. I think the only reason she quit when she did was because of my grandfather's death. My grandfather died of diabetes.
If we can just get my cousin (my aunt's daughter) to stop smoking, would be wonderful. My cousin did NOT stop smoking when she was pregnant with her three children. Thank the Lord the children were not harmed when they were born.
You would think the high prices of cigarettes nowadays would detour people to stop smoking. I guess with any kind of addiction it has to be that persons decision to stop smoking.
I agree with vivasuzi that bugging them everyday to quit smoking doesn't help, they just get mad at you. I think it is a great idea to congratulate them everyday that they do not smoking.
